9/24/2024 – The forecast has turned to straight gloomy for the next 7 days! We may see some sun Thursday and maybe Sunday and Monday.
The reason for the gloomy weather is that we have a front that will enhance rainfall today into tomorrow. An easterly wind off the Atlantic will keep the moisture over the region. This will allow scattered showers to persist all week. This does now put a damper on some of the weekend activities as this could mean a low ceiling (cloud deck above us).. that could make the Air Show a challenge…. Let's hope things turn better! After the next 24 hours, the chances for rain will remain, but the showers will be scattered, and it does not mean a washout every day.
Between the disturbances and some enhancement from tropical moisture to the south, we could see over an inch of rain in parts of the area over the next week. The grass and trees are really liking this!
The long range shows slightly above temperatures and above average chances of moisture. Things seem to be heading in the direction of continued unsettled conditions.

Thursday: Hi 78 🌥️20% Lo 66 🌥️20% – Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the afternoon and overnight.
Friday: Hi 74 🌧️50% Lo 63 🌧️40% – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers throughout the day and night.
Saturday: Hi 72 🌧️30% Lo 59 🌧️30% – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers during the day and night.
Sunday: Hi 71 🌤️30% Lo 56 🌧️30% – Partly sunny with a chance of showers during the day and night.
Monday: Hi 70 🌤️40% Lo 56 🌧️30% – Partly sunny with a chance of showers during the day and into the night.
